FOLA volunteers manage and support our nonprofit organization. We try to match the interests and skills of our volunteers with FOLA’s needs.

Contribute ideas, help plan and execute educational programs for children and/or adults.

Help plan and execute FOLA’s annual fundraising efforts.

Work with this newly formed committee on an effort to solicit major gifts from individuals and corporations.

Plant Sale
Help plan and or assist at FOLA’s annual plant sale.

Graphic design
Create support materials for FOLA, as needed.

Review/organize historical materials about Laurelwood Arboretum and the Knippenberg legacy.

Information Technology
Support and troubleshoot the Knippenberg Center computers.

Help plan membership retention and outreach efforts.

Take photographs, as needed and/or help organize the photo collection.

Marketing/Public Relations
Annual Newsletter – Help plan and/or write articles for FOLA’s annual newsletter.
Art/Photo Displays – Help plan and execute art/photo displays at the Knippenberg Center.
Marketing – Develop a comprehensive marketing program for FOLA.
Publicity – Help publicize FOLA’s programs and activities.

Greenhouse Team
During the winter months, help grow plants for the plant sale, garden restoration, special display gardens and educational activities.
