Please help us preserve the arboretum’s serene atmosphere and maintain its unique and beautiful collections by observing the following rules and regulations.

Sculpture Trail
Do not walk through gardens. Stay on the paths and lawns. Do not touch or climb on sculptures.

Smoking is not permitted. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes.

Alcohol and Drugs
Alcohol and illegal drugs are not permitted in the arboretum.

Ball/Frisbee Playing
Ball and Frisbee playing are prohibited.

Carryout Trash
Visitors must carry out their own trash or garbage.

Children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult.

Dogs must be leashed at all times and kept on trails and roadways. Dog waste must be picked up and carried out of the park or disposed of in the receptacle in the parking lot. Please do not allow dogs to urinate or walk on the plantings.

Drones are not permitted in the park.

Events, Groups & Group Activities

Fireworks, rockets, firecrackers or any explosives are strictly prohibited.

Food & Beverages
Grilling is not allowed in the arboretum.

Motorized Vehicles
All motorized vehicles, including ATVs and snowmobiles, are strictly prohibited.

Protecting the Plantings
Collecting or picking any plants, fruits, seeds or moving plant labels is strictly prohibited. Anyone found removing plants, trees or other township property from the arboretum will be reported to the police.

Swimming, Wading, Skating and Fishing
Swimming, wading, skating and fishing are prohibited.

The above Rules and Regulations conform to Code 129-20 of the Township of Wayne and will be enforced by the Police Department. Security surveillance cameras are in place throughout the arboretum to ensure compliance with these rules and regulations.
