LAURELWOOD NEEDS YOU! There is much work to do, people to meet and fun to be had volunteering in Laurelwood. Below are ongoing opportunities - or you may have an idea of your own. ADOPT - A - SPOT Choose a particular location to maintain yourself or with family, friends, civic organization, church or co-workers.
CONSTRUCTION There are many projects planned to renew and to create anew. Some are: greenhouse restoration, plumbing, electrical, and creating new paths and steps.
4TH SATURDAY VOLUNTEERS Fourth Saturday of the month, April - October at 9:30, meet in the pavilion. Join a dedicated and fun group of volunteers to continue a tradition started by Dorothy Knippenberg and work in “most needed” areas. There is always something new to learn and someone new to meet.
WEDNESDAY VOLUNTEERS 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. [Meet at the pavilion.] Work and learn alongside the Horticultural Manager in “the area of the day”. PLEASE CALL TO CONFIRM BEFORE COMING.
