Help preserve the arboretum’s serene atmosphere and beautiful collections.
Groups of 10 or more people who wish to tour the arboretum, gather at the gazebo or use any of the facilities for any purpose should inform the office manager IN ADVANCE by calling 973-831-5675 or sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We welcome and encourage children to visit the garden but ask that parents closely supervise them at all times to ensure their safety and the preservation of the arboretum. Adults must accompany children under the age of fourteen and groups must maintain a minimum ratio of one adult for every five children.
Dogs are permitted on leash on trails and roadways. Please keep dogs on pathways and away from all plants and trees. You must clean up and carry out pet waste.
Rock climbing, walking in garden beds and wading in waterways.
Picnicking: Food and beverages are not permitted except for water and baby bottles.
Collecting or picking any plants, fruits, flowers, seeds or moving plant labels. Anyone found removing plants, trees or other township property from the arboretum will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Smoking, frisbee or ball playing, swimming, fishing, or ice skating.
ATVs or snowmobiles.
Please be aware that there are security surveillance cameras throughout the arboretum to ensure compliance with the above rules and regulations.
