 Membership & Donations
Membership dues and donations to FOLA are critical to our success in maintaining and supporting Laurelwood Arboretum and increasing the visibility and public awareness of this unique horticulatural property. FOLA volunteers manage the Laurelwood budget and maintain and improve the plantings and infrastructure. We also provide tours of the Arboretum and public educational and community outreach programs and host other special events. FOLA fundraisers include a plant sale and rhododendron festival each spring and a mum festival in the fall.

Membership Benefits
Members are entitled to a discount at FOLA plant sales, lectures and workshops. They can also receive a 10% discount at participating local establishments.
Members can also take advantage of the American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Program, which gives FOLA members discounts on admission and sales at more than 100 gardens and arboreta throughout North America. For information about this program, go to
