Walking Tour – Rhododendron Festival Weekend

RhododendronsRhododendrons are Laurelwood’s signature plant, and observing over 60 varieties of rhodies in bloom is one of the year’s most stunning sights. During our Rhododendron Festival, guests and their families will enjoy peaceful walks surrounded by majestic flowers. And they will learn more about Laurelwood’s legacy. Our rhododendron collection includes more than 400 named hybrids and species, many of which were raised and planted decades ago by John and Dorothy Knippenberg.

Guides will select the most spectacular spots for viewing our rhododendrons in bloom. Free. Motorized carts driven by our volunteers are available for those who are unable or do not wish to walk.

Members/$30 for 3 class series, non-members/$40 for 3 class series
$25 materials fee (required) – One time fee includes: paintbox,
brushes, handouts and a pad of Arches 140 cold press watercolor paper
Series and material fee payment required before start dates
