Membership & Donations
Membership dues and donations to FOLA are critical to our success in maintaining and supporting Laurelwood Arboretum and increasing the visibility and public awareness of this unique horticulatural property. FOLA volunteers manage the Laurelwood budget and maintain and improve the plantings and infrastructure. We also provide tours of the Arboretum and public educational and community outreach programs and host other special events. FOLA fundraisers include a plant sale and rhododendron festival each spring and a mum festival in the fall.
Membership makes a great gift!
To order a gift membership, please send a check made out to FOLA for $25 to Box 2433, Wayne, NJ 07474-2433 along with the name and address of the gift recipient, who will receive a membership card and benefits information.
Membership Benefits
Members are entitled to:
- a 10% discount on plants at FOLA plant sales
- free admissions or discounts on most programs, lectures and workshops
- discount at participating local establishments (listed below)
- annual newsletter
- notification of events
Members can also take advantage of the American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Program, which gives FOLA members discounts on admission and sales at more than 100 gardens and arboreta throughout North America.
